We know from medical science that in the presence of good thoughts the brain releases 4 chemicals (Endorphins, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Dopamine) to support those good thoughts. But in the presence of danger or negative thoughts the brain releases a different chemical (Cortisol). Cortisol called the stress hormone can create a domino effect that predisposes the brain to be in a constant fight or flight state. While on the other hand chemicals like endorphins, dopamine and serotonin trigger a positive feeling in the body, feedback for predicting rewards and initiate high moods instead of low ones. Just think all of this comes down to a skill that we have complete control over, our belief system. If we change our beliefs, we can change our life!
