“Having success in life at anything, is easy, it is just so damn hard.” — LBW
Here’s a question for you. Would you rather have a coach who lived the steps they are telling you to take, or would you rather have a coach who has successfully shown others how to take the steps you need to take?
This question is one of the fundamental struggles I see from parents who guide their kids to successful careers as student-athletes. They take advice from a coach whose only claim to fame is their success. They could take the direction of people whose claim to fame helps guide tens of hundreds of kids, including their own too successful lives as nurses, doctors, lawyers, and law enforcement people, using athletics as the springboard.
Make it easy instead of so damn hard!
