“People who wade into discomfort and vulnerability and tell the truth about their stories are the real badasses.” – Brene Brown
April 24, 2020
I was introduced to Brene Brown over the last few weeks from several friends of mine. Some thought I would like her; some didn’t know I would, and others were on the fence. I loved her!
Her authenticity, honest, and straightforward way she talks was refreshing, and her study on shame and fear, and her conclusion that vulnerability is our most significant measure of courage is so real. When I think of my own life, and if I am candid, being willing to fail has been my most satisfying moments whether it was knocking on the door thirty years ago to meet my future wife or deciding to go back to law school at 33, with no money and three small kids.
I could go on and on, but if you know me already, then you know, and for those who don’t know me check me out.
