2 Timothy 1:7 states, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. I am reminded by this scripture that as a Christian we live our lives not by being cowards, but that with God we are strong, fearless, and powerful, all with being smart. What I like about this scripture is that no matter what is going on in our lives, what darts people may be throwing at us, in the form of verbal assaults, negative attitudes, or whatever you may be experiencing, God has our back.
2015 can be truly what we make it. So when you have those feelings of despair, attacks and pressure from people who try to knock you off you’re your path, remember they can’t as long as you stay connected and focused on what God has in store for you. Your story is written by almighty God, the same God who has brought you to the place where today you have accomplished great things in your life.
So when you have those days where you are feeling the blues remember that God is there for you, to lean on, talk to and allow for his spirit to place you back on track. In Exodus 34:10 God tells us that His desire for you is to be great because he said he would do great things that have never been done
God is a God of multiplication, so stand tall, don’t act weak or intimidated, but like a child of the most-high God. When you realize this, you will understand that you were crowned with favor, so that when adversity comes, when you face difficulties, you won’t get weary.
Have faith, because God meets us at the level of our faith. Faith is what allows Him to do the impossible. We will all have reasons to feel sorry for ourselves, but we don’t have the right.
I encourage you to pray this prayer: “God take me beyond my education, beyond my talent, beyond my training. Unleash an abundance of wisdom and favor in my life. God right now breathe on my dreams, breathe on my finances, and breathe on my health. Amen.”
